Meet Ms. Verachtert

My name is Dawn Verachtert and the students call me Ms. "V". I have been teaching physical education for seven years and numerous years of substitute teaching.  I started my career teaching k-5 physical education in  Arlington Heights School District 25.  I taught in Glenview School District 34 for two and half years. Currently, I teach physical education at Meadowview, Woodview and Prairieview  Elementary School.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Teaching Physical Education K-12 from Eastern Illinois University.  I received my Master of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Sport Management from Western Illinois University.  I have also been certified in adapted physical education. I enjoy reading, yoga, and travelling, especially to Colorado where my two sons are in college.
