What We're Doing

Please read below to find out what we've been up to in class!

Math: For the next several days, the class is identifying and classifying triangles and quadrilaterals. We'll also spend a few days working on finding volume of rectangular prisms.

Science: Our current unit is called, H20 Response Team. We're learning about water sources on Earth, as well as how to make sure there is enough fresh water for all the people, animals, and plants on Earth.

ELA: Students are reading the novel, Holes. We will do a variety of activities in small groups, and as a whole class. We are also starting our final writing project which is opinion writing. We are also reviewing different types of figurative language.

Social Science: We are learning about exploration and colonization. The class will learn why Europeans wanted to explore North America, as well as some of our earliest colonies.
