Month at a Glance

APRIL/MAY

MATH: The next units in math are angles and angle measurement, 2D shapes, and symmetry. We will have some time to go back to concepts that could use more practice. 

READING: We are working on finding the theme and summarizing fiction texts along with interpreting information in a variety of informational texts. 

SOCIAL SCIENCE: After finishing our science "super survivors" unit we will switch over into learning about the history of Illinois.

WRITING: We will be working on opinion writing along with some other end of the year writing tasks. 

• Charge Chromebooks each night

• Healthy snack to school

• Bring a water bottle to school 

• Get a good night's sleep

• Read 20 minutes every night
