There are four main steps students will go through when creating their art, they will: Come up with an idea, make a plan, create their art, and reflect & share. When students come up with their own ideas they are: planning, envisioning the steps they need to take to make their art, reflecting, problem solving and sharing. They also develop their craft as they explore different tools in each of the mediums they choose.
The Artistic Thinking Process is based on the creative process, where students are encouraged to try their own ideas. It shows the process of finding an idea, developing that idea, creating work around the idea, and finally sharing that work and reflecting on it.
