Snack is a part of our daily routine. Please make sure it is snack size portioned and healthy.
This week in class:
Reading- Next week, we will continue Unit 6. Confronting Challenges. EQ: How do we overcome obstacles?
Math- .. Math-Next week, we will continue Module 5 on Fractions. Students will focus on adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators. Fact practice is the key to all the modules for this school year.
Language Arts- Next week we will focus on punctuation and explanatory writing.
Spelling- Spelling lists will be found on my google site.
Social Studies-Next week, we will continue our unit on the Midwest. Chapter 4: The Midwest. EQ: How Does the Midwest Reflect the Spirit of America? Chapter 4 Lesson 3: How did lakes and rivers contribute to the industrial growth of the Midwest? Midwest capitals quiz: Friday, February 6. Study capitals for the Midwest region.
Science-Next week, we will be finishing lesson two and moving on to lesson 3- How Does Wind Change Earth's Surface?
