For this trimester our focus is on responsibility. Keeping organized, using time wisely, and staying focused to get tasks done is important. Students are working on how to be more organized which is a key skill for day to day life. Also paying attention and keeping attention are ways to be successful as well. Keep up the hard work!. Remember my google site also has a lot of other key components for our classroom:)

This week in class:
Reading- Next week, we will begin our novel study: The WIld Robot by Peter Brown.
Math- Next week we will continue Module 3 Multiplication and Division: area, perimeter and patterns of multiplying by 10, 100 and 1,000. Please practice math facts daily. It is a key component to math skills for this unit and beyond..
Language Arts- Next week we will focus on writing skills.
Spelling- Spelling lists will be found on my google site.
Social Studies- Next week, Chapter 2-EQ: Why have people moved to and from the Northeast?. We will work on Chapter 2 Lesson 2:: Why did revolutionary ideas prosper in the Northeast? Students will need to study the states and capitals of the Northeast. The first quiz on the capitals will be Oct 24.
Science--Next week, we will be on Unit 1 Lesson 8-What Animal Structures Are Used for Sensing the Environment?
