Keep working on organization, preparedness, and being responsible. Our PBIS goal for this trimester is quick and quiet transitions. It is an individual goal. Students will earn being part of a celebration if they meet the goal this trimester. We have to make the most out of what we have left this school year:) Remember my google site also has a lot of other key components for our classroom:)

Snack is a part of our daily routine. Please make sure it is snack size portioned and healthy.
This week in class:
Reading- Next week, we will focus on reading skills: theme, comprehension and fluency using Reader’s Theater-”All the Money in the World”..
Math-Next week, we will wrap up Module 5 on Fractions and begin on Module 6 on Decimal Fractions. Students will focus on decomposing a whole unit into hundredths, equivalence of tenths and hundredths, and represent mixed numbers with hundreds, tens, ones, tenths and hundredths. Fact practice is the key to all the modules for this school year.
Language Arts- Next week we will focus on writing skills..
Spelling- Spelling lists will be found on my google site.
Social Studies-Next week, we will continue the unit on the Southwest: Ch. 5 Southwest EQ: How does the Southwest reflect its diverse past and unique environment? Chapter 5 Lesson 4: How has the past influenced the culture and economy today? . Study Southwest capitals.
Science-Next week, we will be on Unit 3 Lesson 6- Where on Earth Are Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and Mountains Found?
