About Me

My name is Nichole Bennett. This is my 10th year teaching at Hiawatha. While I have only been teaching for a little over 10 years, I have worked for Hiawatha for 16 years. I have a passion for teaching and a love for developing independent learners that strive for success.

Besides being a teacher, I am also a mom of two boys. My oldest is 24 and my youngest is 22. Both are Hiawatha Graduates! We also have two grandchildren. Annie is 4 years old and Henry is only 8 months old. We also have a Great Dane named Anala. My family and I have also been residents of Kirkland for over 20 years.

I have many hobbies and interests outside of the classroom. My family and I enjoy kayaking, camping, hiking, and fishing. I enjoy crafting, cooking, and gardening. I love coffee and dark chocolate and I believe they are the best food and drink in the whole world!
