1870 – AN INQUIRY OF INTEGRATED SCIENCES
Grade 11-12 1 Year 1 Credit Prerequisite: Physical Science and Biology
This course is designed for those Jr. and Sr. students that do not plan to take Chemistry, Physics, AP Biology, or Anatomy & Physiology as a third science elective. The student must have both counselor and instructor approval in order to be enrolled in the class. The course will have quarter components of Life Science (ie. basic biological concepts, taxonomy, and human biology), Physical Science (basic physics and chemistry concepts), Earth Science (ie. basic plate tectonics, meteorology, and astronomy), and Environmental Sciences (ie. covering basic cycles, environmental concepts and how they relate to some of today's global issues and problems).
