I am also the adviser for the National Honor Society and the Academic Challenge team , as well as coach for Jr High and High School cheer .

My style of teaching is discussion-based to teach students how to think, analyze, define, demonstrate, predict, argue, persuade, compose, describe, and increase the skills they need to be successful in the real world. I gained many years of professional experience prior to teaching and bring that experience to the classroom to incorporate real-life learning.

I also spent time as a university recruiter as well as a decision-maker in selecting scholarship recipients and have a son in college and one who recently graduated from college, so I welcome any questions related to applying to college and scholarships.
