Meet the Counselors

Mr. Sieck

This is Mr. Sieck's 24th year as a school counselor at Hadley. He is from this area and still lives in Wheaton with his wife and 3 sons. He majored in Education at the Universtiy of Kansas and got his Master's degree in school counseling at Lewis Unversity. Mr. Sieck enjoys golfing, playing and coaching basketball, and going to see live music.

Ms. Carlson

This is Ms. Carlson's 12th year as a school counselor, and her 4th year at Hadley. She is a mother of 2 boys (12, 16) and a 3 year old daughter, and enjoys hiking, bike riding, watching her son's baseball games, going to concerts and traveling to California where she lived for 15 years before moving back to the Midwest. Ms. Carlson received her M.A. in Counseling & PPS credential at Sonoma State University.

Ms. Johnston

Ms. Johnston has been a school counselor for almost 10 years and here at Hadley for the last 6 years. She earned her master's degree in school counseling from NIU and last year, became a clinically licensed professional counselor (LCPC). Ms. Johnston has lived in the Glen Ellyn community for the past 18 years. She grew up in Western Springs and moved back to this area after having lived in Scotland for 4 years with her husband. She has two daughters, ages 11 and 15. In her free time, she enjoys running, being outdoors, spending time with friends and family and watching her daughters play volleyball.
