Meet the Counselors

Mr. Sieck

This is Mr. Sieck's 24th year as a school counselor at Hadley.  He is from this area and still lives in Wheaton with his wife and 3 sons.  He majored in Education at the Universtiy of Kansas and got his Master's degree in school counseling at Lewis Unversity.  Mr. Sieck enjoys golfing, playing and coaching basketball, and going to see live music.

Ms. Carlson

This is Ms. Carlson's 10th year working as a school counselor, and her 2nd year at Hadley. Although she grew up in Wheaton, she spent the last 16 years living in Sonoma County, California before recently moving back to the Midwest with her family. She is a mother of 2 boys (10, 14) and a baby girl, and enjoys hiking, watching her son's baseball games, playing piano, and Funko-pop collecting with her 10 year old. Ms. Carlson received her B.S. in Psychology at Seattle Pacific University and her M.A. in Counseling & PPS credential at Sonoma State University.

Ms. Johnston

Ms. Johnston has been a school counselor for almost 10 years and here at Hadley for the last 6 years. She earned her master's degree in school counseling from NIU and last year, became a clinically licensed professional counselor (LCPC). Ms. Johnston has lived in the Glen Ellyn community for the past 18 years. She grew up in Western Springs and moved back to this area after having lived in Scotland for 4 years with her husband. She has two daughters, ages 11 and 15. In her free time, she enjoys running, being outdoors,  spending time with friends and family and watching her daughters play volleyball.

Ms. Pressly

Mrs. Elle Pressly is excited to be a part of the Hadley Counseling team this year as an intern. She has been teaching for fourteen years after graduating from University of Illinois with her B.A. in Instrumental Music Education, and is now working on her Masters in Counseling through National Louis University. Mrs. Pressly has been teaching elementary beginning band in District 41 for six years. She is looking forward to working with Hadley students - some who were previously her beginning band students! - in a new capacity and diversifying herself professionally as a school counselor. Mrs. Pressly lives in Lisle with her husband, two children, and golden retriever. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, biking, reading and shopping.
