About WELLNESS
The wellness curriculum includes health and physical education - essential components of a child's education.
Students are encouraged to develop positive attitudes about themselves, about healthy habits and about physical activity so they will choose to adopt and maintain lifelong health-related fitness.
Children also develop creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills through kinesthetic and personal wellness activities.
The District 303 Wellness curriculum promotes the whole child through health and physical education.
The WELLNESS schedule rotation
The Wellness Department follows six 6-week rotations with one of those rotations being Health.
On your student schedule they will show as: M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6
They may have different teachers for some of these rotations - not to worry... Our staff works cooperatively to help students find their correct location as the rotations occur.
