Mrs. Joan Hagedorn (ELA/Team Leader) joan.hagedorn@d303.org

Mrs. Hagedorn attended Illinois State University, Elmhurst College, and St. Xavier University, with a BA and MA+, she is entering her 21st year of teaching. Prior to that, she worked in the purchasing department for a gas company in Chicago. She lives in Saint Charles and has two children that are Wredling and St. Charles East alumni. Mrs. Hagedorn also has two dogs, Tobey and Vegas. In her free time, she loves reading, fishing, the Cubs, and relaxing with her family by the backyard fire-pit. Mrs. Hagedorn also sponsors Student Council. Here’s to a great year full of learning for all!

Mrs. Julie Roskuszka (Special Education/Resource) julie.roskuszka@d303.org

Mrs. Roskuszka is in her 12th year teaching in D303. She spent the first 11 years at the Elementary level and has now joined the Middle School ranks. She is excited to experience this next level of learning and growing with the Wredling students. Mrs. Roskuszka has a MAT in Special Education from National-Louis University. In her previous career she worked as a retail store designer for greeting card stores, gift shops and hardware stores. She lives in Winfield, IL with her husband, Mark, three active daughters and their dog, Molly. Her family loves the game of baseball and have a ‘split’ family with both Sox and Cub fans under one roof. She is looking forward to a rewarding year at Wredling.


Mr. Ryan Schilb (Social Studies/APS) ryan.schilb@d303.org

Mr. Schilb is in his 12th year of teaching and 4th year at Wredling. Previously, he taught for 8 years in elementary. He received a bachelors in Elementary Education from Illinois State and a Masters in Reading from Aurora University. His whole family is part of District 303 with his wife working at Wild Rose and his two children attending Munhall. He also sponsors Makers Club and Club Basketball here at Wredling. In his free time he enjoys woodworking, reading, spending time with his family and relax with a few video games.


Mr. Douglas Springborn (Math/Adv. Math/Math+) douglas.springborn@d303.org

Mr. Springborn is in his 18 year of teaching. He attended Elmhurst College for his BA, Aurora University for his MA, and is National Board Certified. He has taught every subject in Middle School and also worked in Algonquin and Huntley. In his free time he coaches volleyball at Wredling and also plays volleyball on a USAV team in Chicago. He has two children Abby and Brynn that both attend Anderson Elementary in D303. Mr. Springborn enjoys watching all sports and his favorite teams are the Cubs and Bears.
