Preschool Description:
Our preschool program is beneficial to the preschool and high school student. The high school students have the opportunity to put into practice the theories that they learned in class. The preschool experience benefits the young children by providing a positive and caring first learning environment with small teacher to student ratios.
It is our goal to:
Enhance the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of children through hands on learning experiences.
Create a nurturing learning environment.
Prepare children for kindergarten.
Classroom Routine:
Daily circle time
Small group instruction in: math, science, language arts, creative art and fine motor
Whole gorup instruction in: gross motor, music, and story
Free play in: Dramatic play, sensory, and block centers
Learning should be fun!
In this math lesson children were able to drive their cars on the road then match the numeral on the car to the correct parking spot with the same number of dots.
Felt board Storytelling
Students get involved with story as they help to retell the rainbow fish story, then help to give each fish a shiny scale. This is a great book as we talk about sharing and friendships.
Dramatic PLay
In dramatic play children can explore community roles while learning!
We were able to practice colors, sorting and counting in our flower shop while also using exploring writing out our orders and paying with money.

From practicing letter formation in sand, studying shadows, experimenting with color mixing or the excitement of graduation our goal is to make learning fun and engaging!
