The office of Student Life includes the Dean's Office, student activities, and facilities/operations. It is the mission of Student Life for all students, families, and staff to feel confident, comfortable, and safe. We at St. Charles North support a culture of inclusion, community, and leadership. With over 69 clubs and organizations, every student can find a place to belong and build the skills necessary to be responsible, inspired individuals.

Freshman Orientation: Thursday August 6, 2026

Are you an incoming Freshman student? This event is for you! You are invited to come to St Charles North High School on Thursday, August 6th from 8am-12pm to get to know our school. This event will prepare you for a successful transition. During Freshman Orientation you can expect to:

Get a printed schedule with your pre-assigned locker number and combination
Meet your assigned counselor and Dean of Students
Get a tour of the building
Set up your district email, google drive, and begin to familiarize yourself with Schoology
Learn about grades, GPA, transcripts, and the College of Career Readiness Department
Get your Yearbook picture and leave with your printed School ID card
Meet administration
Learn about extra-curricular opportunities such as sports and clubs
Receive technology/chromebook assistance if needed

Please come prepared with your school-issued chromebook, writing utensils, funds prepared in your Pushcoin account (if you need to purchase a PE lock, School Store items, and/or Homecoming T-Shirt), a backpack or something to carry your things in.

Snacks will be provided!

You will receive a personalized email from The Office of Student Life in the month of July with your assigned group number for Freshman Orientation and more information, so please be on the lookout for that!

If you cannot attend Freshman Orientation, please plan to attend the Welcome Back Campus Jam on Monday 8/10 (see below for more information)

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: Welcome Back Campus Jam

For the 2026-2027 school year, St Charles North High School will no longer be hosting multiple "Material Pick-Up" events. Instead, we will be opening our school and campus to invite students and families to join us on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 3:00pm-7:00pm as a Welcome Back Campus Jam! Consider this an orientation opportunity for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.

You can come anytime between 3-7pm.

Juniors and Seniors who are assigned a parking spot for the '26-27 school year must attend this event to pick up a parking placard. Please come prepared with a valid Driver's License, completed parking signature form, and payment through Pushcoin, cash, or check. Visit the Dean's Office tab on this website for more information on parking.

During this event, you can expect to:

Set up your locker (if you opted in to have one assigned to you)
Tour the building
Get technology/chromebook support if needed
Visit our School Store to purchase spirit wear
Pick up/buy your Homecoming T-Shirt
Visit a variety of extra-curricular tables and get involved!
Food trucks!!!
Seniors Only: you may fill out information pertaining to graduation cap, gowns, and diplomas

This year, all Sophomores-Seniors will be receiving their school ID on the first day of school. There will not be Yearbook and ID pictures during this event.

BLUE FAN GROUP

Our Spirit Fan Leadership group has a school webstore for you to purchase Fan Packs! Here is the link. The store will be open until July 19, 2026.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Interested in purchasing a Homecoming T-shirt for '26-27? Visit the Homecoming T-Shirt Pushcoin Page HERE. Homecoming t-shirts are $15 and can be picked up during Freshman Orientation and the Welcome Back Campus Jam if you order now!

Senior Portraits

All incoming Seniors will need to contact Prestige Photography to schedule an individual senior portrait. This senior portrait will be used for your Yearbook picture. Families can opt-in to purchase additional merchandise directly through Prestige Photography if you want.

Prestige Photography will email families directly to schedule an appointment. Please view this Guide: How to Make an Appointment. The school and/or Student Life does not make appointments for Senior Portraits.

If you have questions about your appointment, need to cancel/reschedule, or any customer service related needs, please call Prestige Photography at 800.736.4753.

If you missed our August Senior Portrait dates, the next available are September 14th-September 17th from 3pm-7:30pm in the SCN Auditorium Foyer.

We will have an optional Senior Portrait- Yearbook Only make-up picture day on October 20, 2026 from 7:30am-2:30pm (during the school day) in the SCN LRC. If a family chooses this option, there will not be opportunity to purchase Senior Portraits. This is for Yearbook picture only.
