Freshman Orientation: Thursday August 6, 2026
Are you an incoming Freshman student? This event is for you! You are invited to come to St Charles North High School on Thursday, August 6th from 8am-12pm to get to know our school. This event will prepare you for a successful transition. During Freshman Orientation you can expect to:
Get a printed schedule with your pre-assigned locker number and combination
Meet your assigned counselor and Dean of Students
Get a tour of the building
Set up your district email, google drive, and begin to familiarize yourself with Schoology
Learn about grades, GPA, transcripts, and the College of Career Readiness Department
Get your Yearbook picture and leave with your printed School ID card
Meet administration
Learn about extra-curricular opportunities such as sports and clubs
Receive technology/chromebook assistance if needed
Please come prepared with your school-issued chromebook, writing utensils, funds prepared in your Pushcoin account (if you need to purchase a PE lock, School Store items, and/or Homecoming T-Shirt), a backpack or something to carry your things in.
Snacks will be provided!
You will receive a personalized email from The Office of Student Life in the month of July with your assigned group number for Freshman Orientation and more information, so please be on the lookout for that!
If you cannot attend Freshman Orientation, please plan to attend the Welcome Back Campus Jam on Monday 8/10 (see below for more information).
Welcome Back Campus Jam: Monday August 10, 2026 *formerly known as Material-Pick Up*
For the 2026-2027 school year, St Charles North High School will no longer be hosting multiple "Material Pick-Up" events. Instead, we will be opening our school and campus to invite students and families to join us on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 3:00pm-7:00pm as a Welcome Back Campus Jam! Consider this an orientation opportunity for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
You can come anytime between 3-7pm.
Juniors and Seniors who are assigned a parking spot for the '26-27 school year must attend this event to pick up a parking placard. Please come prepared with a valid Driver's License, completed parking signature form, and payment through Pushcoin, cash, or check.
During this event, you can expect to:
Set up your locker (if you opted in to have one assigned to you)
Tour the building
Get technology/chromebook support if needed
Visit our School Store to purchase spirit wear
Pick up/buy your Homecoming T-Shirt
Visit a variety of extra-curricular tables and get involved!
Seniors Only: you may fill out information pertaining to graduation cap, gowns, and diplomas
