Academic Awards
One of the goals of our program is to instill the value of education in our student-athletes. We prioritize academic success above all else and we value all that it takes to be a successful STUDENT-athlete.
Each season we celebrate the success of our student-athletes in the classroom. The Academic All-Conference Award is given out to Varsity athletes in their Sophomore, Junior and Senior year. In order to be eligible the student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA above 4.5 on a 5.0 scale in the Fall semester of that school year.
The IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award is designed to reward teamwork not only in competition, but in the classroom as well. This award recognizes teams that maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher throughout their respective season.
