February Practice Challenge is on! Practice each day for the entire month of February to earn a pizza party lunch! PRactice calendar must have a parent signature and minutes practice entered for each day.

Feb. 7: Orchestra Faculty Recital. 7:00 pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1145 N. 5th Ave St. Charles, 60174. Come and here your orchestra teachers perform for you! We will be playing a variety of both classical and pop music. There will be raffle prizes including a colored bow. Attendance at the recital will earn a free practice day.

Winter Concert for Munhall and Norton Creek Orchestra Students

• Date: Wed. January 15, 2020
• Location: Norris Cultural Arts Center at St. Charles East HS
• Arrival: 7:00 pm. Concert starts at 7:30 pm.

Early morning rehearsals begin the week of Sept. 22! Buses for Advanced orchestra students are provided after rehearsal to return students to their home school. Rehearsal schedules for each group are listed in the tabs above.

Beginner Orchestra starts Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 7:30 to 8:25 am.

• Norton Creek Beginners rehearse at Norton Creek School

Fifth Grade Advanced Orchestra (Munhall and Norton Creek 5th graders) start Wed. Sept. 25th.

• Location: Munhall School (1400 S. 13th Ave)
• Time: 7:30 -8:25 am

Fourth Grade Advanced Orchestra (Munhall and Norton Creek 4th graders) start Thurs. Sept. 26th.

• Location: Norton Creek School (2033 Smith Rd. West Chicago, 60185)
• Time: 7:30 -8:25 am

• Lessons Begin! Lessons during the school day begin the week of 8/26-8/30. A letter with your child's lesson day was sent home with them. If you do not know your child's lesson day, please email us.

Make sure to bring your:

• Instrument (If you have not received your instrument yet, it will be given out at the first lesson)
• 3 Ring Binder (with pencil pouch, binder dividers, and a pencil)
• Essential Elements Book 1 (3rd and 4th Graders) or Essential Elements Book 2 (5th Graders)

Please note! Before school rehearsals do not begin until the following dates:

• Beginner Rehearsals- Tuesday, September 24th.
• Advanced Rehearsals: Adv. 4th grade Orchestra begins Thursday, September 26th at Norton Creek

Adv. 5th grade Orchestra begins Wednesday, September 25th at Munhall.
