Class overview

The commitment to teach students creating, performing, responding, and connecting through music remains even though it will look different in this post-Covid-19 world. Students need music more than ever to communicate, learn critical thinking, creatively solve problems, and develop leadership skills.

In General Music at all levels we will learn about how music is created and how it can evoke powerful emotions for us as human beings. Concepts of rhythm, melody, harmony, dynamics, tempo, timbre, and form will all be covered.
