On this website you will find information you need regarding Prom 2023.
You can only attend Prom if you are currently a Junior or Senior. If you are an underclassman, you may only attend with either a Junior or Senior. Underclassmen also need to fill out the guess form that is located in the dean's office.
This year's prom will be held at The Westin North Shore in Wheeling on Saturday, April 29th from 6pm-11pm. The theme is Hollywood!
Students will need arrive in the field house at HDJ at 4:30pm to check in with their assigned chaperone. Buses will arrive back to Jacobs around 11:45pm.

Prom Checklist- a paper copy can be found in the Dean's Office
Step 1. Read the Prom Expectations and Purchase your ticket(s). If you purchase your ticket online, print the receipt. If you are bringing a guest (non- HDJ student or a Jacobs student who is a 9th or 10th grader) pick up the Guest Form in the Dean's Office and have it turned in to the Dean's Office by Tuesday, April 11th.
Step 2. If you purchase a ticket with cash/check, complete the Prom Meal Form (located on the Prom Google Site) by Tuesday, April 18th. If you purchase your ticket online, you can skip this step since you chose your meal when you purchased your ticket online.
Step 3. Figure out who you would like to sit at your table (up to 10 people) and designate someone as a table leader. *If you are unsure of who to sit with, you can write your name as a table leader and we will find you a table.
Step 4. The table leader needs to complete the "Prom Table Sign-Up 2023" form in the Dean's Office and collect the receipts for each person that will be sitting at the table.
Step 5. The table leader needs to organize the receipts in the order that names are written on the "Prom Table Sign-Up 2023" form.
Step 6. The table leader will turn in the "Prom Table Sign-Up 2023" with all receipts to the prom table in the commons during all lunch period on Wednesday, April 19th.
Step 7. Check back on the Prom Google Site for table and bus information on Tuesday, April 25th and to request songs!
Price: $100 per person (Non-Refundable!)
The ticket price includes a 3- course meal, bus transportation, and the Dj/photo booths.
Online ticket sales will begin on Monday, April 3rd and go until Friday, April 14th. You will purchase online tickets via the D300 Web Store Link.
If you do not have internet access at home, you can use the laptop kiosks located in the Jacobs High School main office. In addition to this, you may pay by cash or check by turning it in to Mrs. Sanabria in the Dean's Office during all lunch periods.
After April 14th, there will be ONLY cash/check sales. If purchasing a ticket after this date, you will need to contact Mrs. Sanabria in the Dean's Office during any lunch period. The last day to purchase a ticket by cash/check will be Tuesday, April 18th.
*Ticket sales are not guaranteed after Friday, April 14th.
PLEASE NOTE: NO PHYSICAL TICKETS ARE GIVEN OUT. WHEN STUDENTS ARRIVE AT JHS FOR PROM, THEY WILL CHECK IN WITH THEIR BUS CHAPERONE.
In order to bring a non-HDJ student or underclassman to prom, you will need to complete a guest form. All forms must be turned into the Dean’s office no later than Tuesday, April 11th by 3:00pm. No guest permission forms will be accepted after that date! Guest permission forms can be found in the Dean’s Office or by using this attachment.
Each table, needs to designate a person as a table leader. The table leader is responsible for organizing the table with up to 10 students, collecting all receipts, completing the "Prom Table Sign-Up" form, and turning it into Mrs. Swanson and Mrs. Zoellner during lunch periods on Wednesday, April 19th. The table leader is the student that is contacted if information is missing or needs to be delivered to the rest of the group.
*If you do not have anyone pre-arranged to sit with, you should complete the "Prom table Sign-Up form" with your name as the leader. We will assign you a table. In addition to this, smaller groups may be combined to make one table.
