Remain calm and re-assure your child that they are safe. Talk to your kids about how they can help or how you as a family can help.
Limit your family's and your child's exposure to news coverage of the event, including social media. Monitor your child's screen time to make sure they are not accessing inappropriate content or obsessing over COVID-19 news and information.
