I grew up in Mount Prospect, where I went through district 57 schools and then on to Prospect High School. I received my bachelors degree from Western Illinois University. After graduating, I moved to Spring Valley, Illinois to teach in my very own classroom! I taught two years of sixth grade English Language Arts/ Reading and one year of third grade general education/ESL. I earned my ESL endorsement through Northern Illinois University in 2014. Although this year is going to look a little different, I am extremely excited to start my 6th year at Sullivan and look forward to making it the best year yet!

I love spending time with my family! My daughter, Molly and son, Tommy are only 15 months apart! We have a BIG dog named Ernie and a very friendly cat named Bear! Some of my favorite things to do are watch the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears!
