Homework/Assignments:
Homework and Classwork are an important part of this class, it is essential for all students to complete the required work
Students are expected to keep track of all assignments and due dates
All work is due at the start of the period (work turned in after the start of class will be considered late)
Late work will receive 1/2 credit if turned in by the next day
Major projects and papers are due on the assigned date, Each day late will result in a loss of one letter grade per day
Any student who misses a test or review day will be expected to take the test upon their return the following day. Ex: If you are absent on Monday, you will take the test on Tuesday.
All tests will be completed in the Testing Center
If you are going to be absent before a major break, please arrange homework assignments with the teacher.
As part of our study of history, videos and video clips will be used in class. A few of the movies/clips shown in class are rated "R" due to adult situations, language and violence. All movies are used to enhance learning of material presented in class and help students who learn visually. Alternative assignments are available if requested.
