Fall play 

We are very excited for musical auditions on  WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16 (FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, from 3pm-6pm). 

Please read the Character Breakdown PDF, then choose ONE piece of sheet music, all labeled by character name. Please become as familiar as possible with the music. We want your best effort, so if that means holding the music, or having it on a music stand, that is okay. But you must prepare! We want to see your face while you perform! 

Callbacks are AUGUST 17 & 18, 3:00-6pm. A callback list will be posted the evening of AUGUST 16th.

AUDITION PACKET

Audition Dates: August 16     3:00-6:00 pm Choir Room (vocal audition)

Show up at 3 pm and we will have you come in either individually or small groups.  There are NO appointments necessary, and we will end the auditions once we hear everyone there.  Do not show up late.

Callbacks : August 17 & 18  3:00-6:00 pm Choir Room (callbacks – reading & vocal)

Audition Preparation:

Please prepare ONE of the following vocal selections (it does not have to be memorized, but be familiar with it!)

“Magic Foot” – Barfee, “Chip’s Lament” – Chip, “I’m Not That Smart” – Leaf, “I Speak Six Languages” – Marcy, “Prayer of the Comfort Counselor” – Mitch “My Friend the Dictionary” – Olive, “Rona Moment #2” – Rona, “Woe is Me” – Schwartzy

On 8/16, we will be posting, online, callback songs for a few characters. Acting callback material will be provided at the callbacks.

We will be having a sing/read through on August18 if casting is done and will begin vocal rehearsals on August 21. A complete rehearsal schedule will shared on the cast schoology page.

You must fill out the conflict calendar (ON AUDITION FORM) and contract before you will be allowed to audition. Please sit down with your parents/guardians and mark in any events that may conflict with musical rehearsal dates.
