The JHHS Law Team wrapped up another successful season at the Illinois State Bar Association High School State Mock Trial Invitational this past Saturday and Sunday at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL. 56 teams from across Illinois competed, and the Huskies finished with two All-State Award winners! Henry Eisenhardt received an Outstanding Attorney Award, and Heidi Fritz received an Outstanding Witness Award. Heidi is Hersey's first ever 2-time State Award winner in Mock Trial! Special thanks to senior captains Melissa Loch and Leigh Levinsky, our first ever 4 year Varsity team members! Seniors Kyle Horvath and Conner Martin, juniors Charlie Balachandran, Val Mata, and Bianca Wojnowska, and Sophomore Mallory Loch are our other State Competitors - congrats to all on another outstanding season!
The joint Greek Club and OCC meeting has been rescheduled for this Thursday, March 19th, after school in Room 102. Come learn about the upcoming "Double Celebration" on March 25th. All are welcome!

Congratulations to our Special Olympics state athletes! The girls team took silver, the boys team took bronze, and Aiden Ocampo got bronze in Individual Skills. Congratulations to Ryleigh Barth, Lily Franci, Will Bott, and Marland Johnson!
