Did you love The Big Game? Want another chance to cheer on your fellow students in an exciting basketball game?! Come by the Carter Gym on Friday January 23 during 3B and 3C to check out the MINI GAME! The CLS seniors will take on Grayslake North in a thrilling basketball game!

NHS members! Please meet in the JHHS theater promptly at 8 am on Monday, January 26th for our yearbook photo. Hope to see you then!

Are you interested in coding, or tech in general? Do you want a place to work, socialize, code, or hang out? We run workshops weekly, where we teach concepts and make projects. All skill levels are welcome. No commitment. Join us after school this Friday, January 23rd in room 158 for our first meeting.

Boys Volleyball Preseason Meeting will be Thursday January 22nd at 3:30pm in room 134. All are welcome to attend. And Boys Volleyball first Open gym will also be Thursday 1/22 5:30-7pm in Carter

We're finally back! Join ASA for our Spring kick-off today, Wednesday, January 21st, after school in Room 136. Bring a friend to compete in our group games and take home a prize! See you then.

Hersey Boys Water Polo will be having a Preseason Meeting in Room 139 after school on Tuesday, January 27. Anyone who is interested in playing water polo in the spring should attend the meeting or send Coach Casey an email if they cannot make it.

Congratulations to the DECA Business Club on their performance at the Sectional Competition on 1/14 in Rosemont. Over 220 students competed and 59 of them qualified for the State competition by finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their event. It was the most successful day in Hersey DECA history! We don't have enough time to list all 59 students, but here are the Sectional Champions:

Hersey Billiards Club will meet today after school. White bus leaves at 3:20 out of room 142. Newcomers welcome but need a parental/guardian consent form to participate.

"Hot off the Press!" The cafeteria is now serving Hot Panini's for the same price as the deli sandwich! Come on in and warm up with a hot sandwich!

Juniors! Are you interested in applying to 4-year colleges in the fall? Are you feeling a little overwhelmed or stressed about the process? Are you possibly a first-generation college student with parents who are unsure of this process and so you'd really would like some additional support? Are you interested in learning about the college search and application process in a little more detail? If you answered, "YES!" to most of those questions, you should join the Class of 2027 College Prep Group Check your email from Mr. Chiakulas and submit the Google form by January 20th.
