To celebrate Women’s History Month this March, EmpowerMe Club will be spotlighting different historical women from around the world every day. Here is today’s quote, from Rosa Parks: “Stand for something or you will fall for anything. Today’s mighty oak is yesterday’s nut that held its ground.”

Join ASA in making colorful bath bombs and eating Samosas to celebrate Holi, the welcoming of spring and the festival of colors, TOMORROW March 4th, in room 136 after school! All are welcome!

It's Culture Week March 2nd through March 6th. Assisting in the celebration are a number of Hersey Culture Clubs who will offer a variety of goods. Check them out during lunch blocks in the main hallway. Each day will present you with different options to try something new. Show up and support the Hersey Culture Clubs! Thank you to ASA, Greek Club, LASO, PUSO, SASA, and Balkan Club members for representing your culture.

HERSEY GIRLS SOCCER Tryouts are Monday-Friday (3/2–3/6) On Tuesday, tryouts are 3:30-5:30pm in the Fieldhouse. Wednesday to Friday will be announced. Please bring shin guards & indoor and outdoor shoes & gear as we will be both inside and outside depending on the day. We're looking forward to a great season.

The Hersey Bass Fishing Club is kicking off its competitive season! Interested in joining the fun? Come to our meetings every Tuesday in March after school from 3:30-4:30 in room 124C-D to learn more. All experience levels welcome!

Boys Volleyball Tryouts begins Monday March 9th Sophomores, Junior and Seniors 3:30-5:30pm in Carter.  Freshman 5:00-7:00pm in Carter.  Please make sure you are registered for tryouts and have a current physical on file.

Exciting high-school employment opportunities can be found TONIGHT! Join employers from around the area tonight, Tuesday March 3rd, at the SUMMER JOB FAIR held at the Arlington Ridge Center, "The ARC", in Arlington Heights from 6 until 7:30 pm.  Local businesses will be on-site to share information and answer questions about summer employment for teens. This is a drop-in event.  See you there!

Think you know strategy? Wanna test your skills? Come to the Chess Team Open Play on Wednesday's. Room 124 D, from 3:15 to 4:30pm.
