Any girls interested in playing water polo this spring, there will be a brief informational meeting on Wednesday February 18th in room 139. Please see Coach Brownley if you cannot attend.

Hack club is a great place to learn how to code, socialize and have fun. Whether you have coded before or are new to coding, all skill levels are invited. Join us every Friday in Rm. 158 from 3:10 – 4:00 pm.

Do you like play badminton? Are you interested in donating to a good cause? Come to the East Gym on February 27th at 3:30 pm to play in a tournament. Cost is $5.00 and all goes to charity. See Mr. Ricker with questions.

Tinker Day is TODAY. Come on down to the ARC for some fun Valentine’s Day themed games and activities. That’s today during all lunch periods. See you there!

Polish Club will have a meeting after school on today February 10 in room 235.  We will be making Valentine's cards to deliver to nursing homes in the area and planning for paczki sales.  All are welcome. Also, Polish Club will be selling paczki in the main hallway on February 12th.  Lots of delicious choices.  Hope to see you there.

Join the Jewish Student Culture Club this Thursday, February 12th at 3:15pm in room 119. We will have crafts and snacks to celebrate Tu Bishvat (pronounced too-bishvhot – short o sound), the New Year of the Trees. Tu Bishvat is focused on nature, ecological awareness, and our connection to the environment. All are welcome! 

Tinker Day is TOMORROW. Come down to the ARC during your lunch for games and crafts, such as playing Giant Connect 4 and making friendship bracelets and “Love Bugs.” Plus, you can win prizes from the bucket of weird. That is tomorrow during all lunch periods. See you there.

Did you love The Big Game? Want another chance to cheer on your fellow students in an exciting basketball game?! Save the date- the Mini Game is rescheduled for Thursday March 19 during 3B and 3C. The CLS seniors will take on Grayslake North in a thrilling basketball game! 

Spring is around the corner which means it is time for BOYS' TENNIS to make a run for a THIRD STATE TROPHY AND INDIVIDUAL STATE CHAMPION in a row!  If you are an athlete who wants to compete in a life time sport- come join RETURNING STATE CHAMPION Matthew Sikorski and the rest of the Hersey tennis team this spring.  We will have a preseason meeting on Tuesday, February 10th at 8am in room 213.  Please see Coach Walton or Coach Pihl with questions.  See you Tuesday!

Environmental Club is hosting crafting days on Tuesday, February 10, from 3:10–4:30. We’ll be making paper mâché flowers to sell during Valentine’s Week in Room 130 — all are welcome!

Hey Pickleballers!  A bunch of schools in our district started their own pickleball clubs and are challenging Hersey to compete in two tournaments.  Dates are February 27th and March 28th and will play at the Mount Prospect Pickler.  You need to show up to a Hersey Pickleball Club outing to partake in either one of these.  Our club meets this Tuesday 2/10.  Contact club sponsor Rick Klemz or stop by room 142 for more details.
