All seniors must complete a summer reading assignment. They will either participate in a book group or complete the alternate assignment.
In addition, certain classes require additional summer reading. Make sure to read carefully.
The options are below:
General Senior Summer Reading Options
Option 1
(annotations not required)
1. Select and sign-up for a book group (see tabs under "Seniors"). Sign-up starts on Thursday, May 23rd at 8am.
2. Read the book.
3. At the designated time and place, meet the book group leader and other students to discuss the book. Save the completion voucher for the first weeks of school.
Student does not have to take the reading test.
Option 2
(annotations not required)
1. Read Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford.
2. Take a reading test on the book during the first week of school in your English class.
AP Seminar (seniors)
Seniors enrolled in AP Seminar should select a book group or complete the alternate reading assignment. In addition, students should PURCHASE AND READ Information Now by Matt Upson and C. Michael Hall. Annotation is not required.
There will be assignments during the first week of school related to content in Information Now.
Senior AP Literature
