Helpful Tips to Do BEFORE the Fair

• When asked which event you are attending, select "04/08/25- District 214". The fair are listed in order by dates.

• Complete the student registration form and click "Sign up." It is recommended to check "Text me my barcode" for quick access to your code at the fair. (Parents can register here. See FAQs for more info.)

• Once registration is complete you will receive a barcode by text and/or email. A reminder email and/or text with the barcode is sent again two hours before the fair.

• Please note: StriveScan does NOT share student information with third-parties. 

1. How long does registration take? Only a minute or two.

2. Does it cost anything? No, it’s free.

3. What if I make a mistake? Simply register again. Go to Strivefair.com and fill out the the form a second time. When you receive a second barcode, delete the old barcode and use the new one.

4. What happens next? At the college fair, colleges will scan your barcode to get your contact information. In return, you will receive the college representative’s contact information and additional material about the schools that interest you.

5. What if I don’t have a smartphone or my phone is cracked? Register at Strivefair.com on a computer or iPad. Once you receive the barcode and ID number, you can write down their ID number. Colleges will take the ID number in place of the bar code.

6. What if I can't go/am talking to another college and my parent wants to get information from a college for me? Should they register as me? No, parents have a separate registration form to fill out that can still include your information. 

7. Does StriveScan share my information with third-parties? NO! Your info is only shared with the colleges you decide to share it with. Your info will not be shared with anyone else without your permission. If you have concerns about this, please see your Postsecondary Counselor.
