10 Year Anniversary
10 Year Anniversary
Are you looking for an opportunity to perform with some amazingly talented and passionate performers from across district 214? We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in a very big way, and we want you to try out for it.
For this production we are looking for those unique actors who can “do it all,” and for those who can do it with a positive and fun attitude. Each member of this ensemble must be able to perform, dance, and sing. We are looking for Total Performers who can work in an ensemble environment.
We are looking for students who will want to SHOW THE WHOLE COMMUNITY your talents!!!

SHOW DATES
June 28-July 1
Actors are asked to do the following:
Monologue:
Actors will create their own monologue and submit it TWO different ways.
Tell us a story of a challenge and growth from your HS experience. Share with the camera (standing and under 45 seconds).
AND....
Tell us the same story, but this time tell it to us in the style of a character. You can be inspired by any of the characters in the show or one you come up with. Please keep the text same. Creativity is encouraged. Costumes and anything else you need is permitted.
Song:
Pick 32 bars (~1 minute) in the style of the show
Pick a song that best shows off your range, voice, and personality/character (remember that we are looking for actors who can sing and not just singers. No personality or storytelling in an audition is not a strength.
The song should be with a track and should not be a cappella.
Submit Monologue, song, and conflict/audition information on THIS GOOGLE FORM
Know your conflicts from January 1st through July 1st to list on the audition form. Please be thorough. Some conflicts can be scheduled around if we know about them ahead of time. BUT, this summer we will NOT accept more than three days of conflicts. Please contact directors if you have concerns.
