PHS Band Mission Statement

It is our mission to create a positive and engaging learning environment centered on students in order to increase their musical interest and participation.  They will not only gain a deeper understanding of their instrument and musical concepts, but will also develop a respect for their peers, the band program, traditions, and the art of music itself.  We will foster support for the program by involving all stakeholders, such as parents, teachers, administrators, and community members in the various activities and performances.  We hope to graduate students that will not only have an appreciation for music, but will be active members of society with high integrity.
