Preschool Lessons:
Our high school students prepare lessons for the preschoolers based on Early Learning and Development Standards.
Below are just some of the amazing lessons the high school students (preschool teachers) have planned and taught to the preschoolers in the Sunshine Saxon Preschool this school year.
Math
Pom-Pom Patterns
Preschoolers placed pom-poms in a tray to match the pattern that was in front of them. The children also practiced their fine-motor skills by using tweezers to grab the pom-poms.
Creative art
Create Your Own Community Helper
Preschoolers received a blank face and a different hat either a chef, police officer, nurse, or fire fighter. Then they glued the hat and faces on their paper and were able to create their own community helper by drawing a face, hair, and other details to their pictures.
