I am a proud, veteran,  McHenry Middle School teacher. I have spent the last 26 years teaching 6th grade here at MMS and LOVE it! Ready for year 27!  I have been working with Ms. Safiran my entire career and couldn't ask for a better partner teacher. We love our Silver team students and have a lot of fun throughout the year! 

I am married to my husband, Scott, and have 4 children. Delaney, 19 years old, and playing volleyball at Oakland University this year! She loves volleyball and reading...of course! Ashton is 17 years old and a senior in high school this year!  He loves baseball, basketball, and golf and will be playing all three sports in high school- he keeps us very busy! Parker and Kameryn are my 10-year-old boy-girl twins who are in fifth grade this year. They keep me on my toes!  

Education is the most important part of growing up, and I love to support my students in growing emotionally and intellectually throughout their year with me. Classes will be loads of fun, and I'm sure you will hear stories from time to time!
