District 15 is offering FREE tutoring, in the subject areas of literacy, math and social emotional learning, to D15 students that would benefit from additional learning experiences outside of the regular school day.
Tutoring will be offered to District 15 students beginning the week of January 10th.
Tutoring sessions will typically be 1:1 for 30 minutes at a time.
Sessions can be done virtually, at a District 15 school (before/after school) or at an agreed upon public location and can be set up to coincide with your D15 student's specific schedules.
Sessions can be scheduled any day of the week including weekends.
Please click here to view a list of our district tutors, the grades they are qualified to teach, and what subjects they are offering tutoring for. If you would like to schedule a session with one of our tutors, please email the tutor you are interested in. In your email please include the name of your student, what areas you would like the tutor to focus on, and the day(s)/time(s) your student is available for tutoring sessions. The tutor will work with you directly to get your student scheduled for tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions come at NO COST to you.
District 15 schools are also offering before and after school learning clubs. A learning club is curriculum based and is comprised of 5 or more students at a time. Learning clubs meet at least once a week for 30 to 60 minutes at a time. If you are interested in inquiring what learning clubs are available at your student's school, please contact your student's main office for information.
