How are students' language skills assessed?
Students taking the AAPPL or STAMP exam are assessed in the ACTFL modes of communication including: interpersonal listening & speaking, presentational writing, interpretive reading and interpretive listening.

Students can retake the part(s) of the AAPPL or STAMP test that they do not pass.
The cost for retaking individual parts of the AAPPL test are as follows: Speaking $11, Writing $6, Listening and Reading $5.50.
When will I receive my results?
When will I receive my results?
Complete results for the AAPPL or STAMP test are usually available within 2-3 weeks. During peak testing periods results can be delayed.
