In the D127 math departments, we build positive relationships with students and colleagues, serving as role models by being innovative problem solvers who are passionate about our discipline. We help students develop into productive contributors to society by teaching them to use resources, prior information, logic, reasoning, and perseverance. Our students will leave D127 as effective problem solvers who make connections between what they have learned and the world around them.
