Woodwind Players: We recommend Vandoren reeds for single reed musicians and Jones reeds for double reed musicians.
6th Grade: Vandoren Juno 2 or 2.5, graduate to Vandoren Navy Blue Box 2 when ready. Jones Medium.
7th Grade: Vandoren Navy Blue Box 2.5 or 3 when ready. Jones Medium Hard.
8th Grade: Vandoren Navy Blue Box 3. Jones Medium Hard or Hard when ready.
Legere Synthetic Reeds are acceptable for all reed players.
All musicians should have these materials to fully participate in class. Please contact your band director with any questions.
