Summer Opportunities
The programs below are not yet accepting applications for the summer of 2020, but I will update links and information when they open enrollment.
Science Playhouse
Check out Science Playhouse for a variety of summer enrichment opportunities. Camps are offered in June and July for robotics, programming, survival skills, 3D printing, and more.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers summer camp adventures that share the wonders of wildlife and wild places in fun and exciting ways. Campers meet animals up-close, explore the outdoors, interact with zookeepers, make treats for the animals, design cool crafts and more!
If you are interested in learning coding during the summer, but don’t want to attend a camp then explore this opportunity. It’s a 3-week coding program during which you would be learning real-world programming skills (Python, HTML, JavaScript etc). What’s unique about them is that they teach through a live, instructor-led, online class. You will attend a small group online class from the convenience of your home and be taught by a live instructor.
Colorado College offers a variety of age-based summer courses.

Whiz Bang Science

Rooted in the talent development model, CBK summer programs offer students the opportunity to study with bright, motivated peers, enhance their preparation for advanced coursework, and establish long-lasting friendships with students from across the country and around the world. Students with exceptional ability entering grades 4-12 or ages 8-17 are offered a varied selection of enrichment and/or acceleration courses on campus at the University of Colorado Boulder.
*Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
Outdoor adventures range from 6-81 days for ages 12-adult and are available year-round throughout the United States and Mexico. Leadership skills and character development are the focus. You don't have to be an athlete or outdoor enthusiast to succeed, but you do need to embrace a challenge and seek adventure.
