About Me

My name is Jill Hellman and I am the Gifted Resource Teacher at Scott Elementary School. This is my second year at Scott, my sixteenth year teaching, and my fifth year in the Gifted and Talented program.

I grew up in Castle Rock, CO and moved to Colorado Springs to attend the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2000. I graduated with a BA in History in 2004. It was here that I met my husband. We were married in 2008 and have two wonderful boys--Davis (10) and Walker (7). I received my MA ED in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington and have a Pre-K-12 endorsement in Gifted Education from the state of Colorado.

In my free time, I enjoy family time and board games, crafts, reading, and golfing.
