The Missing

I’ve been told I have been missing since I was born. That I thought was weird, but the weirder thing is that I have never left my parents side. This took me a while to process, I asked questions like was I kidnapped and every answer they said no. When I was ten they finally told me why I was missing. When I was born I got tested for what community I belonged to. My parents both belong to the hydro community, which means they can control water. And my sister Rainey is a part of the Vanisher and Phaser community, which means she can bend light and matter. Where I am missing. I am a part of one of the banished communities, specifically the shade community, that is where I can bend darkness. But one thing that makes me different is that I am a part of one of the common communities too. I am a part of the telepath community and the phaser community, basically meaning I can read minds and bend matter. I have been in hiding from the government since I was a baby. And that is why I am missing. Not from my family, not from close friends. But the whole world. And soon I will need to save it.

Family

It was a dark and rainy night. I had escaped my foster home. I was trying to look for my mother. My real mother, but I was bewildered. I had no idea of where to go. I was still happy I left the house though because my foster parents were becoming really vex. I still remember how I got lost.

It was 10 years ago my mom and I went to the carnival because I was getting bored and home and she was trying to win some prizes for me by trying to hit the balloon with a dart. My mom tried her best and she won me a little monkey toy after 8 games. The monkey toy was just the right size, it fit in my hands, it had black eyes, and it had fur all over. While she was giving me the toy she also gave me a compass. My mom told me “Whenever you get lost always use the compass to find your way back.”

There was a crevice in the compass, I turned to my mom and asked “What happened to it?”

My mother said “That the compass was really old and it had fallen a lot of times.” Then we went to get something to eat. We ate Wendy’s, and I ate a chicken sandwich. I started to munch down the food.

“My mother said why are you gorging all that food at once. You could choke. Take your time, we will leave once you are finished.”

I smiled at her, and I went back to eating. Once I was finished with my meal it was time to go home. I started walking towards the exit with my mom. The entire place was crowded, and I could barely keep up with my mom. I couldn’t keep up with her because the crowd was so thick with families and I couldn’t squeeze through. I wasn’t holding her hand because I had thought I had grown up and I could walk by myself now. I was only 6 and I thought of myself as a 14 year old. I accidentally dropped my little monkey toy that my mom had won for me, and I had gone back for it. I sprinted for the toy. The only thing in my head was someone might take it. When I got the toy, I couldn’t see my mom anywhere. I felt worried and said I didn’t know what to do so I started to bawl, but then I saw a police officer and I went towards him. I knew what to do because my mom told me if I was in a situation like this I should go to a policeman. “Hey officer do you know where my mother is?”

“No I’m sorry I don’t know where your mother is.”

I was starting to feel apprehensive because I was worried if my mom would come for me or not.

“Hey don’t worry it’s going to be alright. I’m going to ask you a couple of questions

if that is alright with you.”

“Okay,” I said imploringly.

“What's your name?”

“My name is jack.”

“Okay hi Jack do you know the address to your house?”

“No, I don’t know the address to my house.”

“Okay that’s alright do you know what your mother looks like?”

“My mother has blonde hair and blue eyes and she was wearing a peach colored cardigan. With a peach colored hat and gloves.”

“Okay thank you jack.”

“Yeah, no problem, are there any more questions?”

“Yes just one more what is your mothers name?”

“Her name is Jesse.”

After all those questions he took me to the police station where I had to wait for a very long time.

“Sorry Jack we still couldn’t find your mother, but don’t worry she will come up soon to find you.”

“Okay I know she will come for me.”

Time passed by and nothing had happened. I was there at the police station for a couple of days. I felt nervous and scared because I don’t know why my mom has not come for me yet. The policeman came towards me and said your mother has not come yet, and you don't have any other family members, so we will have to put you in a foster home. I knew he was being crazy. I am literally being detached from my mother, I told him. They told me that this would be the best for me. I was quivering. They explained to me that if my mother came back then I would come straight back to the police station and be with her. I accepted their offer and went to a foster home.

When I arrived at my new house I was stunned. The house was huge and it was very nice inside. I really didn’t have a good time there because all I had on my mind was my mother and how she is looking for me. Till this day she has not found me, and the officers say that she has not come to the police station, but no worries she won’t have to find me anymore. I will find her, and we will be a happy family again.

Now the rain had gotten worse and I needed to get shelter. I ran for a while until I found a gas station. Many cars passed my way and the gas station looked nice and clean. I asked the worker if I could sleep here for the night, and he said that I could sleep here until sunrise. The worker was very nice. His name was Dave and he was having lunch. I was very grateful that he had let me stay there.

When it was sunrise I took a couple of supplies such as water and chips. The worker had paid for me, so I headed on my way to find my mother. I knew for a fact that my foster parents were worried because the police were already looking for me. They were probably worried about me because they never had a kid of their own and they saw something special in me like hope. I saw police cars go into the gas station, and I saw my foster parents come in behind them. I started to pick up the pace. I had a map of all the possible outcomes where my mother could be living now. I went to many places such as our old house that was a 5 minute walk to the carnival and our recent house, the one I was in before I got lost. That was a 10 minute walk to the carnival. Those two houses turned out to be a failure because I couldn’t find her there. One location was the carnival.

Let me go back and tell you about this. So it was about a couple of months ago. I went to the carnival at night. It was 10:00 P.M. When I arrived there the carnival was closing because it was the end of the day. I started walking through the carnival and I saw many new rides such as the seesaw and the zero gravity coaster. Suddenly I heard screaming from the carnival. Really loud screaming. I wasn’t sure where the screaming came from but I was a little nervous. I started to pick up my pace and then I realized that the screaming was coming from the haunted house. I sighed in relief. The haunted house was big it a picture of a clown on the front and dragons' heads at the top. There was a sign at the front saying enter at your own risk. It was pretty creepy, but it looked cool. There were automatic doors at the front and a zombie dressed as a helper was standing there. SuddenlyI heard really loud scraping noises. That scared me so much that I jumped. I was so scared that I decided to get out of there. Looks like the carnival as a failure. I got all of these locations by remembering the last places I was with my mom and now I only have one location left. It was really far away, but I was determined to find my mother.

This last location was an old house. I think it belonged to my grandpa.

When I had arrived at the door of the house she came out. It was my mother. She looked the same. She was shocked to see me because she hasn’t seen me in so long.

“You really shouldn’t be here.”

“Why should I not be here?”

“Because I moved on with my life. Remember the day when I lost you. I saw you with that police officer.

“Then why didn’t you come?”

“I didn’t come because I knew that the police officer would put you in a better home then mine because I really had a hard time keeping up with everything and making sure you were safe. I knew that they would keep you more safe than I could.” I was shocked.

“So all this time I was looking for you and you couldn’t tell me that you just didn’t want me anymore.”

“It was never like that.” But I didn’t want to hear it. I ran out of there and I went straight to the police station.

Then my foster parents arrived and I quickly jumped up and ran to hug them. I had almost forgotten how my foster parents had looked. My foster dad was really tall and he had brown hair and brown eyes and he had a black coat on. My foster mom had blonde hair with black eyes and she had a brown coat on.

“I am really sorry for all the trouble that I had caused.” They seemed a little worried, but we went home and had dinner. I felt safe. Right then and there I knew that I had found my true family. I realized this a little late but my foster family had given me all the love I ever wanted.

History of Planet Mace

Formation of Mace

4.5 billion years ago

Mace formed by random rogue asteroids clumping together. It was a rogue planet for a short while. It got caught by the gravity of a nearby star. The star’s name was Herboculus. It was the closest planet to Herboculus. It was very hot (305 Degrees Kelvin) It was Chiffon-White.

4 billion years ago

A huge rogue planet passed through the system, ejecting Mace. It became a rogue planet again. It cooled down. It was traveling through the cosmos until….

3.8 billion years ago

Mace got caught by another star! The star was called Yiskars. It was the closest star to Herboculus. Both Yiskars and Herboculus formed in the same gas cloud. It was in the Habitable Zone. But it turned out that there were 4 other rocky planets! Their names were: Sater, the closest planet to Yiskars, Trebuchis, the 2nd Planet from Yiskars. Zecith, the 3rd planet from Yiskars, Bublocheta, The 4th planet of Yiskars and Disathee-sized, hit Mace 975 million years ago, and Disathee, 5th planet of Yiskars.

Modern Mace

900 million years ago - Present Day

Mace got it’s very first life 900 million years ago. 800 million years ago, the rings of Mace turned into moons. These moons were Duplix and Toply.  100 million years ago, an asteroid from the warm dust belt (a warm dust belt is a belt of asteroids and dust between Disathee and Zubechanali) was on its way to pass by Mace. The same asteroid that passed Mace 8 years ago is on its way to impact, but it burned up in the atmosphere of Mace and eroded away. 30 million years ago a 60 km asteroid hit Mace, causing the Grecagus extinction, heating up Mace a little bit, then everything went back to normal again. Then 500K years ago, the Maceals appeared (those were like the humans).

Far future

In the Year 2500, all the Maceals control their very own planet’s resources, which means they’re on Type I on the Kardashev Scale. Then in 3000, Mace is now one united country. In 3500, Mace’s biggest and outermost moon, Mon (AKA: Mace I) enters the Roche limit of the planet, which means Mon is shredded into pieces and transformed into rings. In 6000, they invented terraforming technology and terraformed Zecith and Trebuchis. They failed trying to terraform Zubechanali, but terraformed Lonia (one of Zubechanali’s moons). In 10,000, a new Eon began, and global warming became a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM. 

In 15,000, they terraformed Sater, but it had brown grass and Light Gray Water due to its close range. In 20,000, they went to Disathee, and a new establishment was formed called POYO (Protection of Yiskon Objects) They protected all the rings of ringed objects, some asteroids and tiny moons, and also minor planets/dwarf planets in the Yiskon system. 50,000, they started sending a Dyson swarm around Yiskars. In 100,000, the Dyson swarm was completed. In 200,000, they improved Zubechanali and Metachenoli’s atmospheres so they could inhale it. 

In 250,000, a day lasts 39 hours instead of 38 hours, now 1 Minute is 91 seconds instead of 90, and 1 hour is 91 minutes and no longer 90 minutes. In 500,000, Mace’s Magnetic Field flips. This results in compases pointing to the Wrong Direction and Confused Animals. In 750,000, Herboculus approaches Yiskars within a 1 light year distance, distorting the comets in the outer cold dust belt, In 900,000, Maceals manage to reach Type II of Civilization, which means they control all of the Yiskon system. Now they start Interstellar Travel. Oh boy! We are into the millions, so let’s go!

Even Far Future

1 million years from now, continental drift starts happening. 10 million years from now, Sater is pulled far out of orbit! This distorts orbits of asteroids in the Inner Warm Dust Belt. 20 million years from now, Zecith’s Smaller Inner Moon, Zetis gets shredded apart by the Roche limit of Zecith, creating rings for Zecith. 25 million years from now, Mace’s Rings become thin, causing the liquidation of POYO, which means POYO was no more. Now mining of tiny asteroids/moons and rings are back in business. 45 million years from now, Sater loses grip of it’s own gravity, crashing into Yiskars, destroying parts of the dyson swarm. 50 million years from now, Mace’s rings will completely disappear, no more moon fragments of the former moon exist. 60 million years from now, Haebis, Zecith’s larger outer moon escapes Zecith’s orbit and returns to the inner warm dust belt which means Zecith is left moonless. 

75 million years from now, A MAJOR ASTEROID IMPACT HAPPENED, KILLING 2 MILLION MACEALS. Maceals decided to abandon Mace. They also reached Type III of Civilization. 80 million years from now, Zee, Moniquo and Koniq don’t exist due to rapid expansion of mining in the Yiskon system. 100 million years from now. Otis captures an extremely tiny moon. 125 million years from now. POYO was re-established. (For a short time). 250 million years from now, Hamwebia Major Forms. 300 million years from now, POYO was disestablished again. 400 million years from now, Hamwebia Major split apart. 500 million years from now, Solar Eclipses no longer happen. 600 million years from now, Trebuchis is no longer habitable. 650 million years from now, all life planets (except disathee) are drying up and losing life. 

700 million years from now, The Life Era ends in the Yiskon system, Maceals evacuate to Zubechanalese moons and Metachenolese moons. 750 million years from now, Zecith’s surface starts frying and is no longer habitable. 775 million years from now, Zecith loses its rings. 800 million years from now, Mace is starting to boil when Yiskars increases luminosity to 20%, 900 million years from now, all life on Mace is completely dead, Mace is not habitable anymore. Yiskars is hotter than ever.

Red Giant Yiskars

1 billion years from now, any remaining water on Mace evaporates, 5 billion years from now, Yiskars destroys the Dyson sphere, and is an orange giant star. Trebuchis and Leon are swallowed. Plants on Disathee die. However, water still exists. 8 billion years from now, Yiskars becomes a red giant engulfing Zecith. Meanwhile, at the same time, Herboculus also became a red giant. 10 billion years from now, Mace is engulfed by Yiskars, while life 100% dies and the moons of the gas planets are habitable. Then, Aliens from a different planet from another solar system visit the Yiskon System. They landed on Disathee. They find traces of a former civilization formed billions of years ago. Maceals meet the Aliens, they then both become allies and start colonizing their universe together. 12 billion years from now, you’ll see.

White Dwarf Yiskars

Yiskars sheds its outer layers and turns into a white dwarf star, whilst Disathee starts cooling down. Disathee is an icy planet. But the water is colored blackish-blue, ice caps don’t exist, and in 20 billion years into the future, the Disathan ice age ended, now Maceals can inhabit Disathee again. 50 billion years from now, Yiskars becomes a black dwarf, destroying Disathee, moons abandon their planets and their universe dies.
