As a district, D101 believes that technology can be a valuable tool that can supplement classroom learning, as a result, each student at McClure has been given a Chromebook which they are to bring with them each day to class. In order to fully participate in class, the following expectations are in place for Chromebook Usage.

To properly engage in their lessons, students should:

• arrive to school with a fully charged Chromebook.

• bring headphones that can be used with their Chromebook.

• only use their Chromebooks when they are directed to.

• access academic sites only.

  • Students found to be on gaming sites, social media, or streaming videos that are not part of a lesson may be subject to a disciplinary consequence.

• treat their Chromebook with care and not intentionally damage their machines.
