Weightlifting Club

Are you interested in increasing your physical fitness? Ms. Castillo, who has a background in physical fitness training, leads McClure's weightlifting club which meets once per week. This is a 12-week weightlifting program where students will learn the proper form and technique of the weight machines in the fitness room. In addition, students will learn functional movements using a variety of equipment (medicine balls, resistance bands, bosu trainer, etc). Students will start the workout with a warm-up, then complete a strength workout, and finish with a cool down and stretching.
