Retention

A student will be considered for retention who has:

1. Failed three (3) or more of the following academic subjects for two or more quarters:

• English Language Arts

• Mathematics

• Science

• Social Studies

2. Failed two (2) of the following academic subjects for two or more quarters:

• English Language Arts

• Mathematics

• Science

• Social Studies

• and two (2) of the following special area subjects:

  • Art

  • Music

  • Health

  • FACS

  • Foreign Language

  • Physical Education

  • Study Skills
