Romesh Lakhan from the Department of Chemistry was awarded the 2024 Simple Syllabus Digital Impact Award. The Digital Impact award recognizes an instructor who has transformed their syllabus into a digitally native, 21st century document. Designed to make use of video, imagery, and other interactive elements—they have drastically improved the student experience and modernized the way they share curriculum at their institution to make a massive impact. Congratulations to Romesh!
Email a copy of a current version of your course syllabus to Lisa Kittelson, lkittels@d.umn.edu or complete the Simple Syllabus Request Google form and we will transfer the content into Simple Syllabus for you. Once the content is in Simple Syllabus we will schedule a meeting with you to walk through your Simple Syllabus and respond to any questions you may have.
Simple Syllabus is integrated with Canvas. Faculty can use the Simple Syllabus and Canvas Guidance to setup the Canvas toolbar to include the Simple Syllabus for the course. This will provide easy navigation for student viewing and faculty editing.
