I'm a native of Fargo, ND who holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. After that time out east, it is wonderful to be back home and working at UMD.
My research has touched upon identity, subculture, youth, the life course, adult transition, contemporary global culture, sexuality, gender, ethnicity, and race (particularly whiteness and white racisms), among other things.
Free time fun activities include music, golfing, curling, hiking, and road trips.
