We are always seeking highly self-motivated graduate (MS) and undergraduate students with an interest in Cardiovascular fluid dynamics, CFD modeling, and and material fabrication to join our group.
Graduate students: Applications can be submitted through the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) program (submit before mid-December and reviewed in early spring). Accepted students will be fully funded through Graduate research/teaching assistantships (with tuition waiver) in the academic year. Prospective students with research interests in topics of Experimental/Computational Fluid Dynamics, material fabrication and/or data-driven analytics are encouraged to apply. Students should hold a B.S. or equivalent degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Prior PIV technique, CFD modeling, programming (e.g., Python, R, Matlab) experience is a plus.
Undergraduate students: Students interested in joining our group as an undergraduate researcher should submit a letter of interest and resume directly to me. Accepted students can be funded through our research grants or the U of MN's UROP program.
