Volunteer SignUp: Sign up for summer dates!
UPDATE: Instead of using SignUp Genius like in previous years, the board has decided to use a shared spreadsheet for volunteers to sign up for clinic shifts. You can use the link above to access the spreadsheet. Please be mindful of the shifts you sign up for and do not delete any names already written. If you have any issues with the spreadsheet contact Lizzie or Sydney.
TUESDAYS --> MONDAYS: The HOPE Clinic Board has decided to move clinic days from Tuesdays to Mondays due to curriculum conflicts. Clinics will still be held at the same time, 3:00-5:00 PM. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Jocie or Anna.
What to Expect (Volunteers):
Thank you for volunteering with HOPE Clinic! The actual clinic starts at 3:00 pm, PLEASE ARRIVE AT DAMIANO BY 2:30 to allow us to see the first patient right at 3:00 pm. Please wear scrubs and a nametag, or else dress professionally. Facemasks are provided to volunteers and optional while in the Damiano center. Additionally, please BRING YOUR STETHOSCOPES. Eye protection is optional. Please contact your student coordinators if you have any questions or concerns about your time at the clinic. If you have any reason to believe you are sick or may have COVID-19, please DO NOT volunteer and contact a clinic coordinator.
**REMINDER: It is your responsibility to find a replacement if you are no longer able to volunteer at your shift, please communicate any changes with the clinic coordinators in advance of clinic start time.**
Upon Arrival: We'll briefly overview roles and general clinic flow when everyone arrives. Of course, you can always look in your volunteer handbook to get a jumpstart to prepare for your role specifically, but our student coordinators will also walk you through the logistics of your role. The clinic is meant for you all to engage in a fun and meaningful experience while serving your community!
Address: 206 W 4th Street, Duluth, MN. You should park in the main lot at the Damiano center.
We have received our new vitals equipment, and exam table. It is fully operational down at clinic!
