Titanium is an amazing metal. It is durable, strong and can be used in many applications. I have studied its properties, and genuinely enjoy working with it. If you have an EDC, or any other titanium item, that you deeply enjoy, this page will help you transform it from something great to a work of art. Change it back at anytime, or try something new, just for fun.
The quest for black Titanium, has long been sought after. Many have tried, most have come closer then they realize. All have given up, or settled for less then the best. If you are going to invest in somthing made titanium dont settle for other surface coatings. Anode Dyeing retains all of the Anoidizing benifits and preserves the natural beauty of Titanium. I am happy to share that Titanium can be anodized in black with a strong permanent and durable finish. It can be utilized on all Titanium surfaces. No hazardous commercial grade chemicals are required. This is an at home, DIY method that can be done for less than $200 in setup costs.

Prepair the Titanium. When I get a new knife, I like to handle it for a week or so, without modifing it. Feel the edges, make note of the horns needing to be knocked off. File down any edges or corners, that are irritating. Get a good Diamond file set, and some diamond sand paper. Steel files have no effect on Titanium.
