The Bible serves as the authority for the body of Messiah, and this authority is found solely in the canonized Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. The Torah provides foundational teachings; the first five books are essential for interpreting all other parts of the Bible, reconciling its understanding. The Apocrypha and other Talmudic writings are not authoritative and should not be used as a primary teaching source, although they may serve as references if necessary.
Elohim, a plural and general name for God, is Divine. Elohim exists as three in one: YHVH of the Heavenly (the Father), YHVH on Earth (the Son), and YHVH of Spirit (the Holy Spirit). We recognize that there are various perspectives on the concept of the Trinity/Triunity, but love must prevail in matters where we lack certainty. At a minimum, we must acknowledge that Yeshua is divine (Emmanuel – God with Us).
Abba: The Father’s will is to be done; His desire is for His creation to know Him and to draw near to Him. We may not be sure of the exact name of God, so we should extend grace to one another when we refer to Him differently or want to honor His name. The three main variations of His name are YHVH: Yahweh, Yehovah, and Yahuwah.
Yeshua: The Son is the Passover Lamb and the Messiah, the King of the Holy Ones of Israel. He became the sacrifice to draw humanity to the Father and paid the penalty for sin (propitiation) for those who believe by Faith in the cross (curse) for eternal life. This salvation through Faith involves a process of redemption, sanctification, and future glorification.
Ruach HaKodesh: The Holy Spirit acts as a mediator and giver of truth, helping us to understand the Father's will. He provides comfort and discernment to the body of Yeshua, guiding us to fulfill God's purpose individually and as a family/community.
Assembly / Ecclesia: The body of Messiah is called to act in love and to edify one another through the Word, Psalms, and Truth. It is important to build each other up and to allow each individual's gifts and purposes to shine, revealing the light of Yeshua and preparing the body for His future Millennial Kingdom and eternity. Until that kingdom comes, we are to live and walk in Him and share the good news to the Jews first and then the Gentiles (Greeks) about the Messiah of Israel. We are called to loving prayer for the land and people of Israel so they are ready for the return of the Messiah.
The Assembly recognizes the Seven Feasts of Adonai for celebration and life: 1) Passover, 2) Unleavened Bread, 3) First Fruits (Barley) Resurrection, 4) Shavuot (Pentecost) Weeks, 5) Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah - Day of the Blowing), also known as Rosh Hashanah, 6) Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and 7) Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot / Shemini Atzeret). Other feasts, such as Purim and Chanukah, are recommended. We recognize that there are many traditions, and some can help bring order to life. However, one’s tradition does not grant authority over another person’s life. Let the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) work.
We do not accept the following doctrinal teachings: Lunar Sabbath, Two House (bloodline), or Sacred Name doctrines, or Flat Earth.
We love and support the People and the Land of the State of Israel. May they seek the face of the Holy One of Israel!
