Cherry Blossom Viewing at Inokashira Park, Lunch at Toriyoshi, and Visit to Akita Yoshimura Museum
Cherry blossom trees were in full bloom on Wednesday, April 2, for the 18 members of the Reading Group who attended the outing.
Unfortunately the weather was a bit rainy. But we still enjoyed the beautiful trees in Inokashira Park and each other's company at lunch at Toriyoshi restaurant in Kichijo-ji.
Some of the group walked to a small museum of Akira Yoshimura nearby. The Working Room “Shosai” was newly opened in 2024. Attendees remembered the CWAJ Reading Group discussing his book “Shipwrecks” several years ago.
Thank you to Kazuko for organizing the fantastic outing. And thank you to everyone who was able to attend.
