Dress Code
This is a formal event. Tuxedos or long dresses are appropriate. If you are in need of gently used options, please email kleinbedellc@cvuhsd.org.
As a masquerade, we encourage you to bring a mask of your choosing. However, please make sure it is easy to remove as you will not be able to wear it during check in and will probably not want it on all night.
Trains or overly long dresses are discouraged since you want to be able to have fun on the dance floor.
Two piece dresses are allowed as long as the midriff is no more than two fingers of skin showing
Comfortable shoes (or backup shoes) are encouraged (you are required to wear shoes at all times)
If you have questions about your outfit and don't want to risk being covered or required to change, please bring a photo or video of you wearing it to Ms. Kleindell in B-102
All students must be checked in by 9:00 pm. However, to get the most out of your prom experience, don't miss a moment and make sure you arrive as close to 7:00 as you can.
Dinner will only be served until 8:30 pm
There will be a breathalyzer at prom. "Champagne parties" DO NOT MEAN you can drink alcohol. Even the smallest amount will be detectable. Stick to apple cider!
Please review the dance contract you signed on lawndalehs.org for dress code and code of conduct. Students not in compliance of the dress code will be asked to leave, change, or cover up.
Bring your ID
Students must wear shoes at all times.
There will be a coat check but we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not check anything valuable.
Some food may contain peanuts. If allergic, we suggest you bring your epipen.
