Graduation is a formal event, and we want everyone to look their best while staying safe and respectful of the occasion.
Please know that this is a brand-new field, and the Class of 2025 will be the very first to walk on it. This is why the shoe dress code must be followed! We want to preserve this field and ensure it lasts for many years to come.
Your cooperation will help us honor this milestone responsibly and ensure future classes enjoy the same high-quality experience.
👗 Attire Guidelines for Graduates:
We recommend semi-formal attire such as:
Dresses
Pantsuits
Skirts & blouses
Slacks with a button-down shirt
👟 Shoe Requirements:
Comfort and safety are key on the field:
NO heels or flip-flops allowed. Any footwear that could damage the turf or leave marks are strictly prohibited.
Wedges or formal slip-on sandals are acceptable
🔔 Reminder: This is an outdoor ceremony, so dress appropriately for the weather and field conditions.
👨👩👧👦 Guest Guidelines:
Guests, please make sure your attire is school appropriate.
This is a celebration of our graduates — and the spotlight should remain on them.
Let’s celebrate with Cougar pride, respect, and class!
We want to celebrate the rich diversity of our graduating class by allowing you to represent your culture with a cultural sash during the graduation ceremony.
Please note: Cultural sashes will not be provided by the school—if you choose to wear one, you must purchase it on your own.
There are important guidelines to follow:
Flags will not be permitted as part of the ceremony attire. Cultural sashes are the appropriate way to show pride in your heritage.
If your sash is not school-appropriate, you will not be allowed to wear it during the ceremony.
If you are unsure or have questions about your sash, please speak with an administrator for approval.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in you not being allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
We’re excited to see you celebrate your identity in a respectful and unified way. Make sure to follow all directions.
We’ve partnered with The Commencement Group to make purchasing graduation gifts simple and stress-free!
