Dress Code:

• Formal wear

• If you are in need of a dress, please see Ms. Fuentes or email her (fuentesb@cvuhsd.org)

• Make sure you are following the dress code guidelines that are found in the Dance Contract you signed.

• Students & guests must wear shoes at all times.

• If you have questions concerning your clothing, seek prior approval from Ms. Fuentes, Mr. Hendricks, Mr. Thedford, Ms. Cabrera and Ms. Yang. If you arrive in clothing not appropriate, you run the risk of not being allowed to enter.

  • If you are bringing a guest from another school, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make them aware of our dress code policy.

FAQ:

• Arrive by 8:30pm to the venue. NO CHECK-INs after 9pm.

• If you are getting dropped off by UBER or a family member in a regular car, have them go INSIDE the parking lot.

  • The first 15 minutes are FREE.

• If you are driving your own car, self-parking is $17.

• If you are getting a LIMO or something similar, have the driver drop you off the entrance on S. Orange Grove Ave (see map) and walk up to the entrance inside the parking lot.

  • Limos or large vehicles don't fit inside the parking lot.

• There will be a breathalyzer & metal detectors at prom.

• Small clutch purses are allowed but larger purses and backpacks are not.

  • ALL bags are subject to search.

• Bring your ID & your guest's ID.

• Bring money if you wish to purchase professional photo packages.

• Masks and vaccinations are not required but strongly recommended.

• Prom will take place on the 4th floor.

• Once a student and/or guest leaves the venue, he/she/they will not be permitted to re-enter. In case of an emergency, staff, security, or administrators can accompany a student(s) to and from his/her/them car.

  • Now to 4/1/22 will cost $140

  • 4/4/22 to 4/8/22 will cost $150

  • 4/11/22 to 4/15/22 will $160

  • Last day to purchase ticket is 4/15/22

Before purchasing your ticket, you need to complete this dance contract. Click HERE for it. The bottom part of the contract is for those attending with guests.

We will check at the dance that you have completed this.

For this dance, we are allowing OFF CAMPUS GUESTS.

Make sure your guest follows the following guidelines:

• Must complete the dance contract .

• Must turn in a copy of their ID.

• Must be under 21 years.

• Must complete the COVID screening before entering the dance.

Contract must be signed by Hawthorne's admin and turned in to Student Store when you purchase your ticket.
