I love learning about the stars and space.
1. What did you learn?
I learned how to use and merge layers in order to work on different areas of my pixel art.
2. What was the hardest part / most challenging aspect of this assignment?
The most challenging part of creating my pixel portrait was figuring out how to get frames to look the same yet different in the back in order to give the illusion that it is animated.
3. What did you like the most about this project?
I liked how i was able to capture how i view myself in a creative way, and how i was able to add stars which are my favorite thing to draw.
4. How would you improve this project if you were to do it again?
If I were do to this project again I would like to improve on the hair as it looks kind of flat and doesn't really have any dimension to it.
I enjoyed being able to get creative in how i chose to showcase my burger. I enjoyed this because I was able to make the project something of my own so it was one of a kind and completely different then the other students who also got the chance to be creative.
The most challenging part of this assignment was figuring out way to make some complicated shapes such as the tomatoes, pickles, and onion. This was a challenge to do because i had to get creative in the techniques i used such as distortion for the pickles.
I learned how to merge layers and rasterize them to create a desired shape like my onions and tomatoes. I also learned how to pre made shapes to make my work easier for me.
I kept the style in my artwork consistent by using simalar colors, shapes, designs, and style.
I created these emojis because I wanted to create something cute.
Out of the 3, my favorite emoji is The heart with the skulls inside of it because it has my favorite colors and was fun to design.
These emojis might be misinterpreted by someone else because they don't see the creativity or why people would enjoy it.
The color harmony that I picked was monochromatic.
I think the colors work well because the colors mix well together and are pleasing to look at, The two dark colors against the light one work really well and make it feel seamless.
I think the patterns work well because they are all simple but beautiful patterns that work well against each other.
What I learned after completing this project was how to clip together my patterns in a fast and good way that saves me time on my projects and allows me to color in big spaces.
What I found the most challenging about this project was remembering what layers i had clipped and had to remind myself constantly to not erase an important part of the design.
1.What does your tattoo represent?
My tattoo represents individualism shown in the butterfly being used as a sign of freedom and not conforming, and societies judgement on uniqueness shown in the multiple eyes that look frantic and angry showing us the hate people who may be different than others face.
2. How is this tattoo symbolic to you?
This tattoo is symbolic to me because its a reflection of how I tend to be judged by others for how I look and the things I like, but despite these challenges I still choose to be me.
3. What was the most challenging part of this assignment?
The most challenging part of this assignment was trying to make the tattoo look as natural as possible on the person using highlights and shaping it differently.
I choose Shanghai, China because of the impact Shanghai has on modern China and because of its pretty temples and houses.
I would send the postcard to my sister because we are trying to figure out where to travel to for our birthday and I want to visit Shanghai, China.
Im very happy with the final design I think it really captured all the things I love about Shanghai and the things I hope to one day see for myself. To improve on the design I would add the names of the locations shown and also a few more significant flowers to shanghai.
I ended up with a black E with spirals and a white smaller H also with spirals right next to each other.
I choose this logo as my final because it feels most like me and something i would genuinely use to market myself.
Yes its a good representation of how my work can be multiple things at once, organized, straightforward, or creative when need to be.
